Chicago Map Wrap

The Chicago Map Wrapped Glass turns that big, no-nonsense city grid into something worth pouring into. Streets stack, stretch and cut across the glass, with CHICAGO sitting bold across the front like it has somewhere to be and no plans to apologize for it.

This design has a different kind of rhythm than the softer, winding city maps. Chicago is all lines, blocks, lake edge and movement. You can feel the order of it, then the little breaks where the city does its own thing. It feels like neighborhood shortcuts, trains overhead, a cold wind off the water and the kind of place people carry with them long after they leave.

Every glass starts as a rescued bottle collected through our community of donors, better known as the Bottle Brigade. Once it reaches our Texas studio, we cut it, fire polish the rim and finish each piece by hand, giving that bottle a second life as drinkware with a little grit and a whole lot more character.

The Chicago Map Wrapped Glass makes a strong gift for locals, former locals, college grads, clients, hosts, architecture people, map people, lakefront people, and anyone who still has opinions about which neighborhood has the best pizza. Pour iced coffee, sparkling water, a cold beer, or something warmer when winter starts acting like winter.
